Variable Compression Ratio Diesel Engine Emissions by cpjawahar is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The study evaluates the performance and emission characteristics of a variable compression ratio diesel engine using Argemone Mexicana biodiesel and its blends with diesel. Experiments conducted at different compression ratios revealed that the optimal blend, AME20 at CR17, exhibited superior brake thermal efficiency and lower emissions of CO and HC compared to diesel. The findings suggest that Argemone Mexicana biodiesel can serve as an effective alternative fuel for diesel engines.
