What is Jackass Penguin: Unique Species of Africa about?

The jackass penguin is the only penguin species found off the coast of southern Africa, breeding on 24 islands between Namibia and Port Elizabeth. They are threatened due to a reduction in their food supply from commercial fishing, harvesting of their eggs, and oil pollution from tankers near Africa. Their populations on the mainland are also vulnerable to predators and human disturbance unless protected.
