Can I read Fabrication of a variable low-temperature STM unit on EtoBox?

Fabrication of a variable low-temperature STM unit by Hironaru Murakami; Takashi Ogami; Yang Qi; Kazuo Sakai; Toshimichi Ito is a Physics and Astronomy article available to read on EtoBox.

What is Fabrication of a variable low-temperature STM unit about?

For the purpose of stable STM observation at variable low temperatures, a prototype of compact STM unit was fabricated. It is basically composed of non-magnetic materials, such as co-axial double piezoelectric tube scanners, quartz sample-holder and transferring guide. The unit size is as compact as 25 mm in diameter and 50 mm in length, which makes it possible to be employed inside a superconducting solenoid. The experimental results using HOPG showed clear and stable STM images with atomic resolution, and showed little in#uence of thermal expansion at temperatures below 70 K.

Who reads Fabrication of a variable low-temperature STM unit?

It is typically read by researchers, students, and practitioners in Physics and Astronomy.
