About this document
CAPZ Desalination: Efficient Water Recovery by Ahilan Raman is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Sea water is conventionally desalination using SWRO technology to generate fresh water often at a high cost. Due to its low recovery at 40% of the seawater intake, it uses a large seawater intake and discharges large volumes of concentrated effluent back into the sea. CAPZ desalination generates not only fresh water but also Caustic soda, Hydrogen and Chlorine making it economically profitable as well as environmentally friendly.
