About this document
MPLS VPN Configuration and Management by Habet Moshmosh is a document available to read on EtoBox.
An MPLS virtual private network uses label stacking to create tunnels between provider edge routers to separate and transport customer traffic for each VPN. At ingress provider edge routers, packets are given an outer label to determine the egress provider edge and an inner label for the label switched path. The inner label is popped at each transit provider router while the outer label remains until the egress provider edge router where it is popped and the packet is sent to the customer edge router via IP
