About this document
Ethanol-EC Gel Fuels with CaCl2 Stability by Navnath Nagnath Kumbhar is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This research article explores the development of thermally stable, thixotropic gel fuels using calcium chloride-stabilized ethyl cellulose (EC) and ethanol. The study demonstrates that an optimal EC to CaCl2 ratio enhances gelation, thermal stability, and ethanol retention, making these gels suitable for energy materials and propulsion applications. The findings indicate that the ionic coordination mechanism employed is effective for engineering soft-solid gels with tunable properties.
