What is Bahadur Shah Zafar: Last Mughal Emperor about?

Bahadur Shah Zafar was the last Mughal emperor, succeeding his father Akbar II in 1837. During the 1857 revolt against the British East India Company, Indian rulers chose Zafar to lead them and he was named Emperor of Hindustan. Although the rebels fought bravely, the British defeated them and deposed Zafar, imprisoning him. Zafar was exiled to Rangoon, Burma, where he died in 1862, ending Mughal rule in India.
