What is Understanding Context Filters in Tableau about?

Context filters in Tableau allow for the creation of dependency between multiple filters by generating a temporary table for context data, similar to a materialized view in SQL. This enables the remaining filters in a worksheet to apply on the context data, enhancing interactivity. However, using too many context filters can negatively impact dashboard performance due to the overhead of creating temporary tables with each change.
