God created the heavens and the earth in six days by His powerful word. On the first three days God created light, the sky, seas, dry land and plants. On the last three days God created the sun, moon, stars, animals, and man. God rested on the seventh day, ceasing from creation and rejoicing in His work. God saw that all He had created was good and perfectly suited to His purpose of manifesting His glory through praise. We understand creation through faith in God
