The document investigates the effects of inoculation on the microstructure and properties of pearlitic gray cast iron to improve thermal conductivity and tensile strength. Three groups of irons were inoculated with different inoculants and their microstructures and properties were analyzed. The results showed that thermal conductivity correlated with maximum graphite length while tensile strength was influenced by primary dendrites amount.
