This study investigates the chemical composition, α-glucosidase inhibitory activity, and molecular modeling of essential oil extracted from Cleistocalyx operculatus leaves. Thirty compounds were identified, with (Z)-β-ocimene and allo-ocimene being the most dominant, and the essential oil demonstrated potent α-glucosidase inhibition with an IC50 of 61.82 µg/mL.
