The soil investigation report summarizes soil testing results from 6 locations along the Maynagar Burnish Road in Jalpaiguri District. The soil at all locations was classified as clayey inorganic (CI) soil with 0-6% gravel, 5-6% clay and silt, and 94-96% sand. The standard Proctor test showed maximum dry densities ranging from 15.7-16.6 g/cc and optimum moisture contents of 3.1-3.5%. CBR values after 4 days of soaking ranged from 3.15-3.5%.
