What is Chiang Kai Shek School Dismissal Case about?

Respondent Faustina Franco Oh had been teaching for 32 years at Petitioner Chiang Kai Shek School when she was dismissed. She sued the School for separation pay and benefits. The School argued it could not be sued because it was not incorporated. However, the Court ruled that the School was required by law to incorporate and could be sued. The Court found the School had illegally dismissed Oh without cause and awarded her separation pay, as well as moral and exemplary damages, entitling Oh to compensation.
