This study evaluated the effects of combining heat therapy and transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) on pain relief in patients with chronic low back pain. Fifty participants were randomly assigned to either receive the heat and TENS treatment or usual care alone for 4 weeks. The heat and TENS group showed significant improvements in pressure pain thresholds but not pain scores, suggesting the treatment had some beneficial effects.
