This case report describes a rare case of a malignant salivary gland tumor (SGT) mimicking a dental lesion. A 65-year-old male presented with numbness and a sinus tract in the maxilla. Examination found a small swelling near the root of tooth #7. Histopathological analysis determined the tumor was a high-grade mucoepidermoid carcinoma (MEC), an uncommon but possible type of malignant SGT. The patient was referred for partial maxillectomy surgery due to the malignancy. Follow up 5 years later found no recurr
