QTc as Predictor of Cardiotoxicity in Breast Cancer by Alexander Edo Tondas is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigates the predictive value of Bazett-corrected QTc (QTcB) for chemotherapy-induced cardiotoxicity in breast cancer patients receiving anthracycline-based treatment. The analysis of 32 patients revealed that prolonged QTcB, older age, and obesity were significantly associated with subclinical cardiotoxicity, with QTcB identified as an independent predictor. The findings suggest that QTcB may serve as a useful marker for early detection of cardiotoxicity, although further research with large
