About this document
Applications of Laser Hybrid Welding by Muhammed Razeem is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Laser hybrid welding combines laser beam welding and arc welding, using either a TIG, plasma, or MIG arc along with a laser beam. While TIG-augmented laser welding was first researched, MIG-augmented laser welding was the first to be used industrially and is commonly known as hybrid laser welding. The combination of a laser beam and electrical arc acting simultaneously in the same welding zone is called a hybrid welding process.
