What is Tropical Storm Jose Impact Briefing about?

Tropical Storm Jose is forecast to weaken to a tropical storm as it passes southeast of Long Island on Wednesday. Impacts from winds, rainfall, and coastal flooding are expected across eastern Long Island and southeastern Connecticut from Tuesday evening through Wednesday. Minor to moderate coastal flooding is expected around high tide periods, especially in the back bays and Twin Forks area of Long Island. Tropical storm force winds are possible outside of the forecast cone.
