What is Hardware Job Queue Management in CMPs about?

This document proposes a hardware-based job queue management technique called IsoNet for manycore architectures and OpenMP environments. IsoNet uses a lightweight micro-network of on-chip modules, one per processing element, to rapidly transfer jobs between cores and maintain load balance. It provides fault tolerance by allowing any module to take over coordination duties if one fails, and can handle both core and network faults transparently while continuing load distribution.
