What is Sensitive LPG Leakage Alarm Circuit about?
This circuit detects liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) leaks between 200-10,000 parts per million using an MQ6 gas sensor. When gas is detected, a transistor triggers an integrated circuit to oscillate, lighting an LED and activating a piezoelectric buzzer to alert the user. The circuit operates off a 12V battery and uses discrete components including regulators, transistors, resistors and capacitors to sense gas concentration and generate an audible alarm until gas levels decrease to a safe amount.
