About this document
Size Exclusion Chromatography Overview by ahmad saeed is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Size exclusion chromatography separates molecules by their size. It uses a stationary phase of porous beads and a mobile phase, often a buffer. Molecules are separated as larger molecules are excluded from the pores while smaller molecules can enter the pores, resulting in different elution times. It is used to purify and determine the molecular weights of proteins, polymers, and other macromolecules.
