What is Angelina Grimké about?

In her speech at Pennsylvania Hall, Angelina Grimké Weld summarized the oppression of slaves in the South and called on Northern citizens to take action against slavery. As the mob outside grew louder in their opposition, she asserted that their disturbance only showed how threatened the institution of slavery felt. She urged the audience to educate themselves on the horrors of slavery, circulate anti-slavery materials, and not stand neutral in the face of such injustice.
