What is Boyan Slat about?
Boyan Slat developed a system called The Ocean Cleanup to remove plastic pollution from the oceans. The system involves using long floating barriers to collect plastic debris which is then removed by ships. Boyan started developing this idea when he was just 18 years old after being troubled by the large amount of plastic waste in oceans. His goal is to remove 90% of floating ocean plastic debris.
