What is Awareness of Physical Therapy in Interns about?
The study aimed to assess the level of awareness and knowledge about physical therapy among medical interns. A questionnaire was administered to 50 interns from a private medical college in Mangalore, India. The results found that only 45% of interns had awareness of physical therapy while 42% had knowledge. Areas of poor knowledge included the duration of physical therapy programs, special techniques used, and subjects taught.
