This study investigates the effects of upper trapezius eccentric training on clinical outcomes and central pain mechanisms in female computer users with chronic neck/shoulder pain (NSP). Results showed that the training significantly reduced pain and disability, improved pressure pain thresholds, and enhanced conditioned pain modulation after the intervention. These findings suggest that eccentric training may be an effective strategy for managing NSP in this population.
