What is Lost and Found Folder in Active Directory about?
To check the Lost and Found folder in Active Directory, you need a domain controller and an additional domain controller. If an administrator deletes an OU on one controller while moving an object to that OU on another controller before replication, the object will be moved to the Lost and Found folder once replication is complete and the OU is deleted on both controllers. Users can view the Lost and Found folder by clicking View and selecting Advanced Features after replication finishes.
