Impact Response of Rubberized Concrete Columns by alpinouzer is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigates the impact response of rubberized concrete columns with varying rubber contents subjected to lateral impact. The experimental results indicate that rubberized concrete significantly reduces peak impact forces and enhances energy absorption, making it a suitable alternative for roadside barriers. Additionally, columns confined with FRP demonstrated superior performance in energy absorption and load-carrying capacity compared to unconfined rubberized concrete.
