A commission was appointed to determine the amount of just compensation. The majority found the fair market value to be ₱6,222.42 per sqm and that consequential damages to the remainder of the land was 70% of its value. One commissioner dissented. 3. The trial court upheld the majority opinion and fixed just compensation at ₱35,179,984.88
