This study investigates biogas production through anaerobic digestion of food wastes and domestic sewage sludge, aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and enhance methane yield. A pilot-scale horizontal reactor was utilized, achieving a biogas production potential of 18.16 Nm3/ton with a maximum methane concentration of 88.0%. The modified Gompertz model effectively described the kinetics of biogas and methane yield, indicating its suitability for optimizing anaerobic digestion processes.
