What is Pediatric Supracondylar Fractures: CRPP Outcomes about?
This study compares outcomes of pediatric supracondylar humerus fractures treated with closed reduction and percutaneous pinning in two groups: those with a pink, pulseless hand and those with a well-perfused hand. Results show that both groups achieved comparable functional outcomes, with 94-96% of cases rated as excellent or good, and all patients had normal vascular status at final follow-up. The findings suggest that urgent vascular exploration is unnecessary for most pink, pulseless hands if perfusion
