About this document
Single Photon Quantum Cryptography by Laine Venâncio is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This document describes an experiment demonstrating single photon quantum cryptography over a distance of 50 meters. A stable single photon source was developed using the fluorescence of a nitrogen-vacancy color center in a diamond nanocrystal at room temperature. The source emitted single photon pulses at a rate of 9500 bits/second with a quantum bit error rate of less than 4.6%. This experiment achieved secure quantum key distribution over 50 meters using true single photon pulses, demonstrating an advant
