The document presents a study on standardizing dye recipes for polyester/cotton blended yarns to improve fastness properties. Three blend ratios (100% polyester, 65/35 P/C, 50/50 P/C) were dyed. Conventionally, a single recipe for 100% polyester was used for blends and topped with reactive dye. The study standardized individual recipes for each blend using optimized levels of disperse and reactive dyes.
