The National Fire Protection Association has issued a Tentative Interim Amendment (TIA 24-2) to NFPA 58, Liquefied Petroleum Gas Code, effective September 18, 2024. The amendment revises paragraph 5.2.8.2 to specify the marking requirements for cylinders, including water capacity and tare weight. Additionally, Annex A.5.2.8.2 is updated to clarify the definitions of water capacity and tare weight for different cylinder markings.
