This study investigates the correlation between sexual development, assessed by Tanner staging, and ultrasonography in girls aged 8 to 13 years. Results indicate a significant correlation between various ultrasound parameters and Tanner stages of breast and pubic hair development, while no significant correlation was found for ovarian volumes. The findings suggest that ultrasound can effectively assess puberty-related changes in this demographic.
