WIKE was a country music station in the early 2000s that switched to classic rock in the mid-2010s. In May 2012, WIKE and 29 other stations were purchased at a bankruptcy auction by Carlisle Capital Corporation, and then WIKE and 12 other stations were acquired by Vertical Capital Partners. Soon after, Vertical resold WIKE and sister station WMOO to Vermont Broadcast Associates.
