About this document

Gas-Particle Flow in Dry Ice Blasting Nozzles by MohamadNurHidayatMat is a document available to read on EtoBox.

1. A numerical simulation study examined the effect of divergent nozzle length on gas-particle flows in dual hose dry ice blasting nozzles. 2. The study found that increasing divergent length decreases gas-particle density along the nozzle centerline. Density development decreased with longer lengths. 3. Eddy viscosity was steady at 0.25m but increased drastically after that point due to mixing and back pressure effects from the atmosphere at the nozzle outlet.
