About this document
i-PRF Efficacy in Third Molar Surgery by Jay Lee is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigates the effectiveness of injectable platelet-rich fibrin (i-PRF) in reducing postoperative side effects such as pain, edema, and trismus in patients undergoing impacted third molar surgery. Results indicate that while i-PRF significantly reduced postoperative edema and analgesic consumption, it had a limited effect on pain management and no significant impact on quality of life. Further research with larger sample sizes is recommended to explore these findings in more detail.
