About this document

Copying PIC Microcontroller Programs by Kishan Kl is a document available to read on EtoBox.

To copy a PIC microcontroller using the EPROM+ programming system, there are several required steps. First, the master PIC is read into the buffer to extract both the memory array containing the program and the configuration fuses setting features of the chip. Then, a blank PIC is programmed by writing the contents of the buffer to it, including both the program memory and configuration fuses. Finally, the newly programmed PIC is removed and should function identically to the original master PIC.
