Dušan Džamonja was a Croatian sculptor of Macedonian ancestry known for his modern sculptures made of various materials like bronze, iron, wood and concrete. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb and had his first solo exhibition in 1954. In 1970, he built his house and workshop in Vrsar, Istria, where he also created a famous park showcasing his sculptures.
