This study examined the effects of zinc (Zn) as soil addition and foliar application on wheat yield and protein content grown in alkaline soil. Both soil addition and foliar spray of Zn significantly increased grain yield, 1000 grain weight, and grain protein content compared to the control. The highest yielding treatments were 5 kg ha-1 ZnSO4 as soil plus 1.0% ZnSO4 as foliar, achieving a 29.5% increase in protein content.
