What is Fatima Apparitions: Children’s Encounter about?

The children Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta saw apparitions of an angel and the Virgin Mary in Fatima, Portugal in 1916-1917. The angel taught them to pray for poor sinners and make sacrifices. Mary then appeared to the children six times, asking them to pray the rosary daily for peace and calling for devotion to her Immaculate Heart to save souls. She showed the children a vision of hell and warned that God would punish the world through war and persecution of the Church if people did not stop offending Him
