This delightful 146 page book tells of the adventures and explorations of Frank Debenham, along with others, during Captain Scott's last expedition to the Antarctic in 1913. From the Foreword, Debenham writes: "When, as a junior member of Scott's Last Expedition, I returned in 1913, I resolved not to publish any reminiscences since there were so many others more fitted to do so. Now that I have broken that vow, at the urging of many friends, I have dealt chiefly with the lighter side of those fateful yet happy three years and have addressed myself mainly to a new generation. It is my hope that I might convey something of the spirit of harmony which reigned in that crammed but cozy hut forty years ago."
