This research article describes the detection and identification of avian adenovirus (AAV) in broiler chickens suspected of inclusion body hepatitis (IBH) in Khuzestan, Iran from 2015-2016. Liver and lung samples from 30 flocks were tested using PCR. The results showed that samples from a 25 day old flock with 10% mortality were positive for AAV.
