About this document

The Outcome of Spinal Decompression Surgery 5 by ahmadzaki80 is a document available to read on EtoBox.

The study followed patients who underwent decompression surgery for lumbar spinal stenosis to assess long term outcomes of pain relief and physical function over 5 years. At the 5 year follow up, 51 patients still showed significant improvements in back and leg pain as well as physical function based on Oswestry and SF-36 scores, though initial gains in social function diminished over time.
