Three students were studying under the sage Vishwashrut and wanted to return home after completing their education. As a test, the sage secretly spread thorns along the path the boys would take. The first boy limped through, the second turned back, but the third cleared the thorns before continuing. The sage let the third boy leave but told the other two they had more to learn, as true learning means removing obstacles from your own and others
