About this document
Sensorless Control for Stand-Alone DFIGs by Mohammed Saci Chabani is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This article proposes a new control method called direct flux-vector control (DFC) for stand-alone doubly-fed induction generators (DFIGs) that supply local AC loads. The DFC method directly controls the rotor flux-vector magnitude and angle to accurately control the stator voltage amplitude and frequency. This is done using two separate closed-loop hysteresis controllers. The method does not require rotor speed/position sensors and can operate in both sub- and super-synchronous speed modes without changing
