About this document
Human Circulatory System Overview by Htet Htet Naing is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The circulatory system transports blood, nutrients, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and waste throughout the body using a network of tubes called blood vessels and a muscular pump called the heart. The heart has a double circulation where oxygenated blood is kept separate from deoxygenated blood to efficiently deliver oxygen to tissues and remove waste. The heart has four chambers, valves to ensure one-way blood flow, and receives its own blood supply through the coronary arteries.
