This systematic review examined the effectiveness of silver diamine fluoride (SDF) in arresting dental caries among children. The review identified 19 clinical trials testing SDF, most using a 38% concentration on primary teeth. A meta-analysis of 8 studies found that 38% SDF arrested active caries in 81% of cases.
