About this document

Understanding the Parable of the Sower by M. Darius Lagasca is a document available to read on EtoBox.

The Parable of the Sower describes how a farmer scatters seed on four different types of soil: some falls on a path and is eaten by birds, some on rocky ground where plants grow quickly but wither in the sun, some among thorns that choke out the plants, and some on good soil that produces a crop of 30, 60, or 100 times what was sown. Jesus uses this parable to illustrate how people receive the word of God in different ways based on their hearts and circumstances.
