Packaging information for items is stored in the VEKP and VEPO tables, which are linked through the internal HU number. The VEKP table indicates the packaging material type (e.g. pallet, box) using the field VEKP-VHART. The BAPI_HU_GETLIST can be used to retrieve a list of handling units for a delivery or shipment by their unique tracking number and count the number of pallets and boxes. Each handling unit is identified by a unique HU number in the field VEKP-EXIDV.
